Best hotel I have stayed at in quite some time. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The homemade bread was excellent. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here to get away from the crowds at Venice and could not have picked a more relaxing area. The river runs right next to it. The town has a train station with a direct route to Venice. It's a little far from Venice and doesn't have a shuttle, but for us for one day it was a treat. We took a taxi that cost 30 euros each way, we had so little time it made it worth it. The place is lovely even if the paintings are a bit camp after you have seen the masterpieces in Venice. The grounds and interior are lovely, gracious, and comfortable. The pancakes were divine! Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Property well landscaped and maintained. Wished we knew the pool didn’t open til 6/6 at booking and that the golf course is essentially managed by someone other than the hotel. But the concierge helped us plan our day and made us very comfortable. Not only was breakfast delicious there’s a juicer and fresh fruit to create your on drink combinations. Just lovely.

Their shuttle provided round trip transportation to and from the airport, and the train station was located directly behind the hotel, making for an easy trip to the island. The room was fine, and it was nice that they had an electric kettle to make tea. There's no restaurant at the hotel but they have a shuttle that will take you over to a nearby one, just a few blocks away, for free. I was a bit disappointed that the airport shuttle was 15 euros and only took about 4 minutes to get there.
The hotels approximate distance to the airport is "delicious" with the added accommodations of a shuttle only costing 2 Euros. The photos do not do this property justice. The rooms look old in the photos and that could not be further from reality. The rooms are freshly renovated and the motif makes them appear in photos to have faded paint and furnishings, this is due to the color aesthetic not coming through in the pictures.
In the pictures it didn't look that high-end. But seeing it, we were very pleasantly surprised. It seems recently refurbished while still retaining that Venice charm. Nice, clean, only the first night was a bit cold as you can't control the A/C.
We were upgraded to a larger room, which was very nice and comfortable. All the amenities were in good order, and the staff was great, particularly with restaurant recommendations. We'd happily come back!
We found this lovely small hotel in Venezia Mestre—about a twenty minute bus ride from Venice. It overlooks a charming town square with lost of evening activity. Venice was so crowded we were actually happy to get back to Mestre in the evening and dine with the locals in really nice restaurants.
The staff at the hotel were great—the told us how to get around, even suggested a side trip to Padova, fifteen minutes by train. that was wonderful, an old city with old university and a medieval area.
