"Staff were lovely Breakfast and Dinner delicious The swimming pool was really nice I didn’t get to use any of the Spa facilities so cannot comment. The only down side was that we couldn’t close the bathroom door as it kept jamming and the view from room 51 is messy brambles and over grown hedge but the bird song was good from the rustic setting and I would rather that than noise from other guests so 98% perfect room. I would certainly return."

"It is difficult to find fault with this hotel. Parking space is extensive and adjacent to the bulding. The quality and condition of the accommodation, recreational facilities and catering is excellent. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful."

"The receptionist was very friendly and helpful on arrival. The rooms were very clean. The rooms had a TV, kettle with teas and coffees etc. and you can help yourself to more near the reception area as well as towels and toilet rolls. There was also a hairdryer and in the bathroom a bath with shower and hair and body wash provided along with hand soap and sanitary bags. For breakfast you can buy a voucher from reception for £7.50 which gives you £10 to spend in the service area opposite ( I recommend Leon). For a 1 night stop it was perfect really."

"Not let down and convenient location for onward travel to ferry/euro tunnel. Seem to have had a problem re motorbike thefts so staff offered location directly opposite reception with cctv camera as storage area for bikes was full."
