We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. We chose this based on tripadvisor recommendations, and we were highly impressed. Room was very clean, generously sized and had a breathtaking view over the lake. We ate dinner in the hotel both nights, which is very unusual for us, but the food and service were so good. Most other guests were german, but we only spoke English and were very welcomed.
