The pictures and description of this place online do not do it justice. We had no idea to expect that we'd drive a rough cobblestone road up the mountain to stay the night in a fairy tale castle, complete with a tower and a truly BREATHTAKING view of the countryside from our tall French windows which opened up to admit a fragrant breeze.

This place was wonderful! It was spotless, comfortably warm (early spring), breakfast was great. The owner is absolutely delightful. There was even a place to park the car. Wonderful bathroom with shower. And for us most importantly, it was quiet. The stars were beautiful at night too. We plan on returning.

Served some incredible organic wines. The rooms were top-notch, clean, modern, equipped with everything you needed plus an outdoor Jacuzzi. We had the most relaxing stay!
