Good location to stop whole travelling and use some good local beaches eg Misery Beach. We were not into the whale museum but did the ANZAC Centre which was good. Also Venice Italian in York Street was great food and the fish shop around the corner.

I love Albany. Beaches and sightseeing opportunities are spectacular. The only downside to Albany is that most of the shops close at 1pm on Saturdays and are also closed Sundays but I guess there is plenty else to do.

Easy to walk around the streets of Albany and great choice of eateries. Loved exploring the art galleries as part of the Southern Art Trail. Particularly loved Dylan's cafe for breakfast.

Albany is a beautiful town with many sightseeing places to visit and enjoy. Staying is another thing. Is cheaper to go to Bali for a week with meals included than spend two nights in Albany
