Omggggg I had the BEST SOLO TRIP . As a young African American that can be very scary. However no one was going to stop my vacation. This beautiful hotel picked me up , purchased me a cake, went to the pharmacy for me when I was cramping terribly, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe at all times. It is a small, beautiful, colonial property with wonderful staff (front desk, doormen, cleaners, waiters). Everyone went out of their way to make me feel welcome and safe. The bfast was very good, the coffee strong (a french press, no espresso), and the restaurant has a good ceviche. Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and amenities. We stayed here for four days and had a amazing experience. Location is great, walking distance to all the city center sights and restaurants. For me this was in the perfect location, a nice hotel with a friendly staff. Some people complain the room is too small but it is absolutely fine. There's plenty of room to set your bags down and hang your clothes.

Great little Hotel in the heart of the Getsemani Neighborhood. All the Hotel staff are nice and attentive, especially Carlos, he takes care of you. Gracias Carlos por todo. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Cartagena. PS: The breakfast is a nice touch!!!

My friend and I (2 women) stayed one night and felt safe and looked after by staff. Our room was large and clean. We felt we were among locals and not in a tourist enclave. The best part was being able to walk to the airport for our morning departure flight with no worries about being there on time due to traffic.

The fact is that I missed my flight on Monday January 13th, 2024 and couldn’t make it to this hotel until Tuesday, I called that Monday to advise of the issue and was given 3/4 of what I spent for that Monday in credit to use at the rooftop bar… That is excellent customer service! We arrived at the hotel and it was pouring; yet two bell boys quickly ran over with umbrellas to help with our luggage. The front desk gave us a very warm and friendly welcome.
