Hotel Rural Termas Aqua Libera is a hidden gem in a charming, small town. The hotel is quiet, calming, very clean, and with a kind and helpful staff. It is a short drive away (about 10 to 15 minutes) to Merida. I highly recommend this hotel.
We have stayed here on many occasions and it is always a very enjoyable experience. The staff are super friendly and they always go the extra mile to help their guests. The food is always spectacular and the area around the pool and the grounds in general is well maintained. As we travel with our pet dog, the extensive grounds are particularly appealing to us. Rather than a misunderstanding that the receptionists did not explain us well about the limit of the 6 persons using the SPA (We understood that one should reserve only by rooms for 45 minutes), everything else was excellent, the decoration, the cleanness of the room and especially the breakfast which worths to pay for it.

Excellent location. Room was very nice and the bathroom good size. Elevator was helpful but optional. Check in was awkward with their automated entry but once in you switched to manual keys which worked fine. Very convenient to food
Palacio de Oquendo means Oquendo's palace--enough said--it is a high-end property. Check-in was flawless. Our room was a short stairway up; they offered to carry our bags to our room. This hotel is definitely a 5 Star hotel!! While not in walking distance of the old part of the city, it is a short drive away and there is plenty of cheap parking. Only complaint about the hotel s was the thermostats. They seemed to have a mind of their own... We had two rooms and neither one functioned as expected. Easily solved by opening the beautiful giant windows
Every thing was great. Just make sure you point your GPS to the parking garage, not the hotel. Once you've parked, use a map or your phone to guide you through a few narrow streets to the plaza where the hotel is located.
Amazing location, friendly staff, huge beautiful room at a great price. In the old town, easy walking distance to all the sites, yet on a quiet street. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

The room and the decoration of the hotel was warm and welcoming, and everything provided in the room was in great condition. In addition, the staff were really friendly and helpful on giving recommendations. Location-wise, the hotel was surrounded by shops and restaurants, and in close proximity to plaza mayor and the old town.
We had an amazing visit to Cáceres and apartment was perfect. Parking across the street, and only a few minutes from the Plaza Mayor and the old town. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.
