"This is a wonderful little family run hotel. It has well maintained rustic interiors and a cute internal courtyard with artificial grass, tables and sofas. It’s pet friendly so makes a perfect stop with our dogs as we drive from southern Spain to the ferries or to France on our way home. A simple breakfast is available and cooked to order. The hotel has a restaurant across the road and the food was amazing. I had the best entrecôte steak in years. If the restaurant is closed (they have limited opening in the winter) then a smaller menu is available in the restaurant itself. We will be back."

"Awesome Hotel! I have stayed there several times over the past three years, sometimes I just go in there to get help with something. The staff is the best. You can now control your own air conditioning in the rooms, which is great. Wonderful location to downtown Palencia- 10 minute walk to Calle Mayor and all the good stuff. Highly recommend. Great rooms!"

"Good enough budget hotel in a very central location. We couldn't find the hotel car park so parked nearby in a public underground place. Basic room, but we slept well. "

"Dona Ines and her son Jesus are warm, welcoming and really good at hospitality. The house is in a tiny town surrounded by beautiful fields and short walk to a cool overlook where I was able to take stunning pictures of the sunset. I arrived after a 33Km walk from Sahagun and was grateful to find such generous people. Dinner was delicious and plentiful and the wine Jesus recommended was excellent. The house was quiet and i had a restful night. Dona Ines prepared breakfast of scrambled eggs and jam. I was ready for my walk. Thank you so much for your generosity!"

"the hotel sits in a remarkable historic town in the middle of the Castilian landscape. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the rooms minimalist but with all commodities. A very recommendable stay away from the closest highway.."
