"Hotel Edelweiss was a great place for our four-night stay in Murren. Staff were helpful in recommending the more intensive hikes we were looking for (shout out to the gentleman working breakfast and the front desk), and the views from the hotel are unbelievable. Given the price point and how terrific everything else was, the downsides for us were the freshness and quality of the breakfast. The only "hot" food item is the option to boil an egg yourself--I don't mind the limited hot item menu,...

"Excellent location, close to the chair lift and cable cars, across the street from a grocery store and right next to a ski rental shop. It is on Main Street and a little loud in the evening, but it was usually quiet after 9pm. It’s very clean and comfortable, staff is helpful. In Murren everything seems to close at 6pm, except hotel restaurants. "

"An absolute Gem. Very easy to get to from Lauterbrunnen. Just take the train right up to Wengen 6min and 2 min walk to the Maya. The views from this boutique hotel are indescribable. We had initially reserved in Mürren then switched and glad we did.. Much quieter and prefer the views. The cable car to Mannlichen is a 5 min walk through the ski village and amazing hikes at the top with even more breathtaking views. The restaurant had great food, can't go wrong here. "
