Staying at Ye Olde Red Lion was a fun experience. It is probably the most unique place I've stayed with its blending of old, old and new and updated rooms. I would stay here again. We were in Arran Room which was very nice other than the mattress should be replaced. It is uncomfortable. The outside grounds need some cleaning and TLC, too. A wonderful, clean, and quiet space. We stayed on the top floor during the heat wave but it wasn’t too bad in the evening and the owner let us have an extra fan to stay cool. Highly recommended.

We loved staying here! There was a bus from the city center that drops you off right in front of the property. It is also only a 20-25 walk to the main city center with shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean and we loved the tray with teas and coffee. The communication was very smooth and we heard back promptly when we had questions. We loved our stay and would definitely come here again!
