Hotel staff was excellent and very accommodating. A little out of the way but if you arrive in time you can take the Klum train up the hill right behind the drop point behind the castle.
Situated on Hauptstrasse (Main Street) in old town Heidelberg. It as good to walk every day just as the Germans do. Shops were okay, but plentiful. Also close to Heidelberg's main historical attractrations, the Schloss (Castle) and the Alte Brucke ( the old Bridge).

Jim and I arrived. I found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. From the beginning to the end, they bent over backwards to help me with my needs. They held my luggage when I checked out so I can go to a meeting and I came back and picked it up later. When I returned, they offered me flavored water and candies while I waited in the lobby. The room was very comfortable and the shower was large and relaxing. My only complaint would be that the pillows are a little hard for my liking...
Wow, right outside the famous Heidelberg towers and our rooms over looked the bridge and the river! Perfection. Beautiful old world sitting room to grab a coffee and wait for the rest of our group! We were so lucky to be there for Christmas Markets. It was perfect
The hotel is in a great location - right by the bridge and castle. The room was huge and we could have stayed there for weeks, it felt so comfortable. Restaurant has the best food in town.
Since it's small, it had a more intimate feel. We loved how close it is to the many Christmas markets, old bridge, Philosophers' Walk, and old castle. Taking bus 32 from the train station drops you right at the hotel! We would stay here again. We stayed in December and it was plenty warm.
