We were greeted by very friendly staff and due to the heatwave we were automatically moved to a lower level big room to ensure our comfort. The ambiance of the hotel is lovely and so is its history. We received a free voucher to the town pool which was a nice surprise. My biggest reason to pick this hotel was its location, could not ask for a better location when traveling alone with one child, one feels safe. We stayed at Sachsenklemme for just one night to break up the trip from southern Germany to Venice. It's a great place for both parent end children. The hotel is situated very close to the main highway. The kids got to run rand in the playground and had fun with the zip wire and tramopoline. The grown ups enjoyed the beer garden and the great food. The hotel is surrounded by high mountains. The only drawback is the constant noise from the highway.
