Hotels near Rio Celeste Waterfall Katira

"The location of these glamping tents is so beautiful and remote. And the dome tent itself is so cool and comfortable! We had a few questions about the property and our reservation and were able to communicate easily through Whatsapp. The family that lives on the grounds is so helpful and kind. There was a mom and baby sloth hanging out high in the tree above our tent, and the family helped us see her every day, it was so cool! The property is so beautiful with all the flowers, trees, birds,...

"This is a beautiful high end boutique hotel. The staff was superb, very attentive at every detail. The hotel is right next to the Rio Celeste national park. The facilities mix first class areas like the restaurants and pool with rooms right in the middle of the rainy forest. I really recommend this resort."

"Good people, good food, good room!! Cant go wrong to come here!"

"Cecelia was a very accommodating host. Even though we had a language barrier, we used translation apps. She gave us pointers about local attractions and food. The facility is exactly as advertised in the listing. Nice little cottage style rooms."

"I had a wonderful stay at this cabin! Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, and the view was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!"

"Cabanas Los Laguitos is a little heaven in earth, it is where you can connect to nature and to experience the real rainforest in Costa Rica. Host are great, welcome, friendly, warm, real people with no agenda other than to ensure you are feeling like home!! You are 5 mins driving distance to volcán Tenorio, Rio Celeste waterfalls and river. The horse ridding tour is a real adventure!! I already booked a second trip!!"

"La Finca La Amistad was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. The property is beautifully maintained and filled with an incredible variety of plants. As nature lovers, we were fascinated by the organic cacao farm and even got to see vanilla vines for the first time. The cacao tour was excellent and gave us a new appreciation for the work that goes into producing chocolate. Breakfast was included and featured plenty of fresh ingredients grown right on the farm. They did a wonderful job...

"Such a beautiful lodge, was secluded and quiet and super close to tenorio national park. It was fully equipped with everything someone needs. We absolutely recommend this beautiful place. It is a 10/10. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden was incredible and the lovely family did a little night tour to show us frogs, sleeping birds and other small creatures and plants. In the day we saw many birds. The little side kitchen was nice, and the hostess cooked very good breakfasts of local food, much of which they grew. This was one of our favourite places we stayed in CR. "

"Villa el Tucan is a gem with impeccable service! Bijagua is a cute little village close to Rio Celeste with this new adorable lodge. The owners thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The cabins are cozy, clean, airy, and they even have screens on their windows and sliding glass door. Great lil porch to relax and enjoy the view. They even added a short walking trail to a refreshing river! They have thought of everything! "

"Incredible stay!!! The staff was amazing, they welcomed us when we arrived, prepared a fresh delicious breakfast and gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area. Best part was you could stay here and see all the animals you want - moneys, birds, sloths all on the property. Close to volcano tenoro and fincadventura which were enjoyable day trips "

"Truly a gem in this day and age. Perfectly located with amazing views. The common spaces are completely organic and gorgeous at the same time. Well done!"

"This is the second time my family and I have stayed in Casitas Tenorio. It is hands down one of my favorite places in Guanacaste. It is so convenient to see Rio Celeste and there are some fun places to eat around too. Nana and her husband are the best! If you plan to stay around Tenorio, this is the place to stay!"

"Very comfortable cabins in a wonderful nature setting. Will definitely come back. Great location to explore the area from."

"This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm...

"The Kakao Lodge & Garden Rio Celeste was a very pleasant place to stay for two evenings as we drove and visited various areas within Costa Rica.
