"An aging classic motel. Clean room with new flooring and beds. Quite comfortable. Wifi, fridge, microwave, no coffee maker. Central air conditioning which you can't control, but it works. Really friendly helpful staff and a copy of the Bhagavad Gita in the bedside table... a refreshing change from the Gideon Bible. 😁"

The staff is friendly. The pool facilities are well maintained. There is ample parking. We visited Kakabeka Falls, Fort William, and Chippewa Beach. There were two weddings, one taking place on the grounds with the mountains looking down. Do not stay in town. Stay at the Nor’wester!"
