The room was magnificent and large with a veranda and incredible view. The bed was comfortable and the resort very quiet.
Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Seeing the resident springbok and other wild animals that live and roam in the area was such a treat too.

"The room was large and nicely furnished. The provided washer and dryer were an excellent bonus. It was a bit of a drive into Capetown, but having a farm store on site, alpacas and donkeys right outside our cottage and being able to see table mountain from the property were nice touches. The atmosphere was quiet and safe and the staff were friendly."

Only wish the staff would advise noisy patrons to be cognisant of others by not making noise in the early hours of the morning when some of us are still resting (I struggle to sleep as is). Nothing as annoying as people screaming or talking loud or children crying non-stop at 3am or 4am in the morning. It's unacceptable!"

The place was spotless, quiet, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Loved being so close to the beach and restaurants. The hosts were welcoming without hovering, which I appreciated. Overall, a comfortable, easy stay in a beautiful part of Cape Town. Would definitely come back.
Bliss was a peaceful getaway from the busyness of the city. The wonderful staff and delicious meals made the stay so enjoyable. The view of table mountain and being so close to the beach were great! Highly recommend.
I only stayed one night but I will definitely return for longer stays. The owner-manager could not have been kinder or more helpful as I was there for doctors' office visits at the Panorama Medicentre, a short walkable 1 km away. The bed and one bedroom suite were the most comfortable I have stayed in for quite sometime. The breakfast (included) was homemade eggs, bacon, toast and they even had decaf coffee for me. I love Paperbark Manor and will come again.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Roche Guest House. After 3 weeks in hotels, it was nice to be in a B&B that felt more like a home. The staff was great and helped with local arrangements. The room had a small kitchen and work table and the most comfortable bed on my four-week trip.
We really had a great stay in the room and environment. The staff were good, ready to help as needed. Mr Hajo, the owner, was very welcoming and so good in all aspects. He was so helpful, even in arranging and booking our excursions. Really made our stay memorable.
