We had made a last minute decision to visit the Royal Welsh show and were so lucky to obtain a room here.

"Fantastic location. Dog friendly garden, with a little stream running through, lovely walks, warm, cosy, comfey beds, great hot tub. I kept the horses nearby with a friend had rode in the nearby forest. Beautiful countryside."

"The host was extremely friendly and flexible when we spoke on the phone to arrange key collection, and the house itself was great. The rooms were large and airy, the surroundings and views were amazing and the hot tub was a perfect addition to the garden. Perfect venue for friends or a family to get together and chill out. Took a couple of wrong turns on the way in though! Some bigger signs would be helpful. "

"The property was clean, smelled lovely, nicely decorated. The room was spacious, bathroom was nice and big. Good shower. Coffee and tea facilities with easy instructions. Easy access to local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and local walks. Breakfast was great! I would definitely recommend staying here. "

"Having been to a golden wedding celebration at Downton Old lodge, we needed a place for an overnight stay. The Loin was perfect. Lovely old beams, comfortable room with super bathroom, good food and pleasant staff. My choice gave me a lot of brownie points from my wife!"

"Estuvimos en 2 habitaciones, ambas tenían el baño nuevo lo que se agradece un montón. Las camas individuales no estaban mal, pero el colchón de la cama de matrimonio era tan viejo y blando que nos levantamos con las espaldas echas polvo. Los domingos noche no sirven cena. No hay ascensor, hay que subir las maletas a peso y queda apartado del pueblo de Ludlow con lo que únicamente se puede acceder con el coche. No estuvimos mal, pero para otra ocasión intentaríamos buscar otro hotel."
