Hotels in East Setauket

Although this was not a stay for happy times as i was there for a funeral, i must say i took note, nonetheless, that the kitchen was well stocked and all utensils and appliances very clean. That alone, tells me they care about their guest. I noted the area to be convenient to a restaurant and a Walmart which is helpful in a longer stay. I recommend this hotel highly.

First time we had stayed at this facility. Front desk staff was outstanding and took action to make us feel very welcome. Maid service could have been better since they only came in 2 of the four days that we were guests. Had to ask the front desk for a replacement for the tissue box. Front desk folks (Irene Reyes especially) went out of their way to make us feel welcome and secure a wheelchair for my wife during the entire stay. Great stay though the bed mattress we had was worn slumped into the center.

Beautiful view of the sea, balcony, comfortable bed

We only stayed one night and it was wonderful. The location was easy to find, lots of parking, quick and easy check in and extremely clean modern double bed room. Breakfast in the morning was an extra bonus and very tasty. We would stay again.

Very secluded and quiet.

Clean and comfortable room, great location by the beach. It is right next to the Sea Grape, so expect some noise, but it wasn't too bad.

The property at a Jacuzzi outside which was open to use. Even in yhe cold weather it was nice to be able to use it

Convenient to our meeting site, friendly staff, easy check in/out, good breakfast. Some issues with the TV: dark screen, couldn't figure out how to change program source to HDMI input.

Hotel was nice. Pros: location, free parking, clean, microwave and fridge, free water, pool, staff friendly, nice size bathroom and also a nice size bathroom at entrance, coffee and tea was out in morning Cons: no free breakfast. Pillows; my sister said her pillows were to soft. I found them quite nice. Seems to be a preference. The Tv was rather small for two queen beds to share (around 30 inches). The hotel is amazing, the staff were very welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great experience.

Although entering the large parking lot was not the best to look at pavement-wise, the buildings, grounds, pool area and rooms were beautiful. The landscaping was well done and well taken care of, with beautiful flowers and shrubbery. Plenty of outside seating areas around the pool and in other areas were available. We stayed at the Dansford because we were attending a bridal shower there. A unique hotel with a marina and a ferry coming next door, a lovely view. The staff was very friendly a helpful. The Dansford has a lot of character. It is old but not at all rundown. Our room was on the third floor with no elevator so you might want to ask for a first floor room if that will be a problem.

nice pool I ujswed it good hot water clean I also went to the fitnesscenter and tried a feew ofthe machines all good bed excellent bathroom sink too high I like a shower not a tub shower but only a shower to stand in. get rid of the tub.

It was very clean. When I asked for room service they would come right away they were very kind.It was so worth it the pool area also very cleaned thank you for an amazing time. I would definitely go there again and would recommend my friends and family to go there.
