We stayed in a cottage room, it was renovated re ently. We felt very comfortable & the room was very clean !! Staff was very helpful when we checked in, love that they have the coded locks on their rooms. We would definitely stay again!

I’d stay here again. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, and they have a continental breakfast included. It has the 100+ year old Victorian look and feel, but with a few modern upgrades such as an elevator, AC, and key cards. The Inn at Stonecliffe is wonderful! All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The renovated facility is stunning, with each room’s decor unique. No detail was spared. We especially enjoyed talking with George, the manager at General Store, while getting a breakfast sandwich and coffee to go. Loved our stay here!

The lady at the front hotel check in desk, Manda, was not helpful at all. She never asked for my drivers license. She was very, very rude. She was not willing to help with my situation at all. So, I went along with her way. The next morning I called the front desk and spoke with Pam. Within 30 minutes Pam and her manager took care of my issue and I had an email from Expedia with a confirmation of my refund from Expedia. A last minute stay after a car accident. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and nice. The hotel is in the middle of all you want to see and do in the Soo. While it may look old on the outside, the inside is wonderfully updated. While the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, there are plenty of great places very close by.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. Inexpensive, clean, quiet, and comfortable enough for sleeping. Decor is outdated, though. We were visiting friends who had a cottage on Lake Superior, so most of our time was spent away from hotel. The only negative was the extreme amount of Republican propaganda in the hotel office.

We stayed in the jetted tub room #104. It was very clean, quiet, and the bed/pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the friendly staff kept everything refilled and clean. We travel to the Soo often and would definitely stay here again.

We had the best experience. The staff are helpful and accomodating. The amenities are great. The property is nice and clean. Would highly recommend. It’s a short drive to the boardwalk, restaurants, gas station and groceries. The boat dock going to the island is just a few minutes walk. They also offer shuttle service. This could be our go to place to stay whenever we go to Mackinac Island.
