You can hear the trains in certain parts of the hotel which is mentioned in the hotel description, we stay at the weekend so it wasn’t really an issue but during the week I would opt for a room at the other side of the hotel which is clear when booking a room. The restaurant was lovely as was the food and the cocktails and the service was impeccable.
The room was a family room and was huge! No falling over each other loads of space, plus an added touch the fan was already running when we got there as it was a warm day, thank you.
Tiny issue with team doors banging in the morning (not unreasonable time but nonetheless) but this...

The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Stayed in room 1, had everything we needed including a tower fan as it was quite warm in the room. My only negatives, were the bed was little small (probably a standard double, just not we're used to I guess) and the bathroom sink was very shallow. Every time you used the sink there was a lot of splash back...
