Very clean. Incredibly helpful staff. Fun check-in experience at the bus, definitely different than your typical hotel. However, the room felt a bit cramped, and small. And there were unnecessary appliances like a fan (not needed in October) and a couple of lamps occupying half of the only table. Still, it was well taken care of, and the restaurant had delicious food. I would recommend for a different quirky stay.

Didn’t have the best experience as a solo traveller. Table cleared when I used the bathroom, TV stopped working in the middle of the night, strange loud noises in room and then woken up by the room cleaners letting them

A great hotel for a one night stay, just want we needed. The only downside was our room, although fantastic was up a residential street meaning getting back to the car park wasn’t easy

The hotel grounds were lovely with numerous seating areas to relax in. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing and reasonably priced too. The room was as pictured on the website. My only negative would be that the air con in the room was broken and this information was not shared with us when we were shown to the room. Although there was a fan in the room, it was still very hot and uncomfortable in the night.

6/10 Bueno

The venue is superb overall. One thing I found was there was no buffet continental breakfast, you had to sit and ask for corn flakes and a cup of tea which took ages to arrive. There was never any staff around so I ask the guy watering the plants who as it turned out also was doing breakfast and wasn't that happy. Maybe under staffed.

This quirky decadent hotel is my favourite place to stay in the UK with my partner. Relax, embrace and self-indulge. Can't go wrong. Can't wait to return very soon.
