"Although I was there in the summer I feel it is much more a winter destination. Had dinner in the restaurant three night and the food was excellent. "

"We got the Jacuzzi suite. Everything worked and was a very nice room. Staff was friendly. I didn't have the breakfast but my wife enjoyed it. Hotel offered a shuttle until 2am which allowed us to freely enjoy the bars in the area. Our driver, Rex, was a super friendly and helpful guy. Would stay again."

"The room was nice, clean. But only one luggage rack. Didn't find the hair dryer until it was noticed in a bag hanging from the ironing board. ?? No bar soap, just dispensers. No lighting in the coffee bar area so had to move a lamp so we could see to make coffee. 2 bottles of water only in fridge. For $200 a night? Yes we could get more but....hassel. Also housekeeping was on demand, not daily. The restaurant was excellent though. 👍"

"This is a old school classic hotel. Beautiful decor and very clean rooms. Only rated a 4 due to the free breakfast was very limited. There were 2 cereal options, fruit and yogurt. Was expecting a larger variety. Overall a great hotel"

"Things were all older and dated, but everything was clean. Bedsheets were so old they were nubby. Bathroom was fine with very soft water. Included breakfast was marginal, with pop tarts and weak coffee. It was interesting having a busy bar in the midst of the building, adding character. It is also a gathering place for both Harley bikers and golfers for the adjacent course; quite a contrast. It's the only place around, so if we go to another concert in Mt.Carroll, we'll probably stay again."
