"This a beautiful historic hotel formerly built and owned by CN. Everything is top notch. It's like staying at a Fairmont at everyday prices. Well worth the experience. Everyone was very helpful especially the front desk and the restaurant staff. It is very convenient to all the downtown tourist areas . Can't recommend it enough."

"The hotel has been recently renovated, and the amenities are new and well maintained. The room is spacious and clean, and the staff are helpful. The kitchen at the Fair Isle Motel is a full-size kitchen, equipped with a very large fridge and a four‑burner stove. It’s excellent for travelers staying longer who enjoy cooking their own meals. The only downside is that the air conditioning is a bit loud."

"This is an amazing hotel in a perfect location. The staff are super helpful. The room was large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful. There was no hot food, but that suits us. The hotel has lots of old world charm. Parking was good in the small car park at the rear of the hotel"
