Absolutely amazing building, art decoration, functionality. The villa is just beautiful all around. Great job in converting it into a hotel. Great lobby, pool area, spa, restaurants. Rooms are very comfortable. Staff was very helpful in all aspects of our needs. Not much at walking distance, aside from a couple restaurants, dry clean, pharmacy. The region around it is very beautiful, with many wineries at close distance, lake Garda about 1h drive away. We had a blast in our 4 nights stay.
We stayed here for our first anniversary vacation around Italy. Before I go into any other details I just need to take a second to say the front desk staff were super kind and helpful. Jasmine was especially awesome. She helped us with questions about using the trains, laundry services in the area and even getting us a taxi when needed. We stayed in the Tosca room. It was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Staff had great recommendations for local dining. We were served an excellent breakfast in our room. Our only regret is that we stayed only one night. Tip: if you’re driving, call the hotel first and give them your license plate number so you can drive through the restricted old town to drop your luggage at the hotel before going to off-site parking.
As a solo girl traveling, I prefer hotels as there are more interactions with people. However, this property was EXTREMELY clean. It was spotless and crisp! The restroom is outside of the bedroom which luckily, I did not have to share, but if that is a privacy concern for anyone, the restroom is not in the bedroom itself. Staying in this place was one of the best decisions I made in Italy. The girl welcomed us and explained everything. She gave us a map and she was very kind to us. The place is super clean, just as the photos show. The amazing shower with very hot water and water pressure. These types of accommodation made me enjoy Verona. The attractions very close to the place. In addition, I left an hour late from Check Out and no problem. Really very grateful and I plan to stay there again! Thank you so much!
It was a wonderful stay in the large loft managed by the hotel. The loft was a good size, and it accommodated my family well. We did the paid breakfast, and I told them we would probably grab a vegan croissant for my dairy free daughter, and they got one for us for her to eat at the breakfast! Very kind staff who went out of their way to insure we had a good experience!
We arrived in the morning after 24 hours of travel. Giada said our room was ready and we could go right up. We were SO GRATEFUL! The Hotel Torcolo is in the heart of Verona within walking distance to the most important sites. The staff are happy to see you each day and provide great directions and recommendations. Just make sure if you sign up for the breakfast that you have it in writing ;)
