This hotel was very nice, and very, very convenient to VIE! The room was large, and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. A free shuttle takes you to the airport, which is a short distance. I highly recommend this hotel, if you are flying out of VIE!!

We enjoyed our stay at The Companion hotel! The rooms are small, but designed well so that you still feel like you have plenty of space for storage and separation of bathroom ammenities. The gentlemen at the front desk were super friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. There is a great restaurant and bar located at the property and it is also conveniently located to the train station, making it easily accessible to everywhere in Vienna. Overall, this hotel is a great value!
Wonderful staff and breakfast. Room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities! Easy to get there with the metro...you literally come up out of the subway and arrive at the hotel. Very cool views of St Stephens church and the delightful Christmas market!
This hotel is perfect for those days when you have an early flight in the morning. It's on the airport property and 6-8 minute walk to the check in counters. Lobby has a bar and restaurant so very convenient. Staff is energetic, friendly and helpful. Standard rooms are small but sufficient for overnight stay and price is right. I upgraded to the family room and was much better. Can't go wrong for early travelers. I'll book here again.
Safe, quiet location about a mile from everything in the historic / tourist districts you want to see. You can take a longer (30 minutes to 1 hour) walk OR underground OR tram rides that are 5 minute walk away 15 minute rides. The bus tram underground ticket cost me $8 for a 24 hour unlimited pass. When we arrived in Vienna, many streets were closed for a parade and the taxi could not get closer than 1 km from the hotel. I am mobility impaired and the hotel sent someone with a wheelchair to take me to the hotel and then he returned to take my companion with 2 suitcases to the hotel. Service in excess! The breakfast buffet was fabulous and the staff was the best! Next time in Vienna I will definitely return.

The location was exceptional. It’s in the heart of the Neubau neighborhood close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops and stores yet the street the hotel is on is a pedestrian cobble stone one with beautiful planters full of herbs and lavander plants.

Loved staying here! The location was good for us -- we enjoy walking, and were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. There are restaurants close by. The complimentary spa was AMAZING!!!! Across from train station Wien HBF and close to metro stops. Food court near Canettistraße had variety of food options. Our room was perfect except there was an issue with the card holder for the electricity. Evelina took care of us and gave us a new room. If you like walking, it’s perfect to walk to many sites. Don’t miss the Albertina Museum. Also, stand in cue for a great Kebap at Gerhat Doner. Will return in the future.
