Front desk staff were constantly glued to their screens, failing to make eye contact or acknowledge guests passing by or waiting. * Inefficient Service: Simple tasks like printing an invoice meant standing in front of staff for up to 30 minutes while they stared at their monitors. Basic requests, such as adding a tax number, completely stalled the process. * Hidden Fees: Unacceptable extra charges just to use the sunbeds directly in front of the pool, which should be a basic inclusion at a premium 5-star resort. * Depressing Atmosphere: The interior was far too dark, creating a gloomy contrast with the bright exterior. The lobby lacked any presence or atmosphere, making the hotel feel deserted rather than offering the vibrant buzz expected from a major 5-star establishment. * Housekeeping Overlooked: While the hotel is generally clean overall, attention to detail is lacking. Tables on the breakfast terrace were not properly wiped down from one day to the next, with visible leftovers remaining from the previous afternoon. * Maintenance & Apology Failure: Most frustrating was the hot water outage on one of the days.
