We were an extended family of 7 and loved our stay here! What a beautiful location and the travel pass during our stay made for one of our favorite days during our vacation. We loved our stay here! It is an easy drive from Luzern and the view from the deck is beautiful, especially at sunset when the mountain takes on the “alpine glow.” Dinner was excellent and there is a great breakfast buffet with both hot and cold food. I liked the hotel itself and the location, however this was all self service property. When you get there, you have to use a machine to check in, there’s literally no human individual to welcome you in, not one soul. They didn’t offer clean service, at all. A beautiful, historic property with fabulous views over the lake to the Alps. Excellent staff and service. A very good meal in an elegant dining room with a view to the waterfall. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the Interlsken area.
Everything was good with the exception of the air conditioner / fan unit. It just wasn't working and we didn't figure that out until midnight. The hotel staff did what they could to try to fix the problem, and it just wasn't something we could fix so late. I appreciated their effort. Breakfast was really amazing, and the room had a great view. Highly recommended, especially if you need parking. Bus comes frequently and is direct, takes only 10 minutes or so.
