The staff were very helpful. I asked for a few things (extra towel, extra sheet, glasses of ice), and all my requests were filled quickly and with lots of friendliness. The room was comfortable with comfy bed and pillows. I've been in lots of hotels this trip, and this was definitely one of the best.
We drove up to the hotel I had booked and my partner was immediately disappointed to have arrived at a Holiday Inn located in an office park, but by day 4 of our visit to the Wigan area to visit friends and family, we both appreciated how great a spot we had found for our stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and kind - esp. Ezra! The room had all the basic needs with the exception of a refrigerator which we really would have appreciated. It definitely had the old English charm that I was looking for. My room overlooked the waterway which was nice. There’s a Costco close enough to get anything you might have forgotten. The pub next door served the complementary breakfast and other meals throughout the day. On Friday night they had live entertainment which was very nice.
Great hotel if you have an early morning flight or you want to just get off the plane and straight to a hotel. Walkable from every terminal. About 10-15 min walk from Terminal 3 through the covered walkways.
Really enjoyed our stay here at the INNSiDE by Melia (Manchester location). Staff were extremely polite and helpful from the get-go - and though we arrived earlier than the check in time we were accommodated and allowed to use the spa area (shower, sauna) to freshen up after a long international flight.
Very happy with the hotel, room, amenities etc. The location is very convenient…it’s near some awesome coffee shops, cafe’s, and also not far from main Manc’s city center.
All of the staff, from house keeping, reception, waiters and bar staff. Very helpful. Food in restaurant delicious. Great location, plenty bars and eating places near by, also near station. No noise. Will definitely stay again if back in Manchester.
