Wonderfully charming and beautiful hotel. The grounds and gardens were picturesque. They clearly take pride in running this property. The room was spacious and very clean. Had a three course dinner freshly prepared from the gardens. Perfetto!

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights. It is little bit ran down inside and doesn't feel like a four star hotel. However it has a great private hot springs pool as part of the hotel and the staff is just wonderful. I enjoyed my time here and spent few hours in the Sulfer-rich hot springs pool. The hotel is only about 15 miles from the city of Padua but it takes more than half an hour to drive there because of the traffic. Hotel Casa del Pellegrino was wonderful. No frills, but super clean and accommodating. I was super comfortable and felt safe and secure. Perfect location if you are looking to visit the Basilica. Great place to explore the city. The hotel is on the square where is the cathedral. Excellent service and very nice people. If you travel by car, get in touch with the hotel about directions to the parking. I enjoyed my visit very much and highly recommend the hotel.
This was my 4 th time in Abano but 1st time with kids and 1st time at the principe. We had a great time. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect. The bus stop for Venice and Padova was right in front of the hotel and the pedestrian area just a few minutes walk. Our experience was disappointing overall. The staff was professional, but they were not particularly welcoming, and the service felt somewhat impersonal.
The biggest issue was the room itself. It had a very strong sewage-like odor from the moment we arrived. We thought increasing the air conditioning might help circulate the air and reduce the smell, but unfortunately it made no difference, and the odor remained throughout our stay.
