DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent
10/10 Excellent
"love the heated pool and great breakfast, room is spacious and comfortable."
Cathedral Quarter Hotel - Derby
8/10 Good
"Lovely old property, it was right for us within nice walking distance to darley park for a concert( 20 mins). Very quiet area, slept lovely, comfy bed and pillows. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Perhaps needs a bit of tlc and promoting as it didn't seem busy and really should be. If the outside door looks closed late at night just push it you can get in. Good value for money."
B&B HOTEL Derby

"Everything fine - a really historic building Breakfast great, staff very friendly and polite nothing too much trouble cleanliness of room excellent"
Buxton Crescent
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel and spa with friendly, helpful staff and good amenities. Central location in a beautiful building, plenty of free on street parking nearby. Room was clean comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast had plenty of options and freshly made."
Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton
8/10 Good
"Small room at the back with views of trees, clean, tidy, well maintained, nice gardens"
The Rutland Arms Hotel, Bakewell, Derbyshire
8/10 Good
"Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Well decorated, comfy twin room but disappointingly, in the annex. Not in the main hotel. IMO, on the expensive side. £500 2 x nights, especially as it was 'room only'. Also, hardly any parking on site. Forced to park in public car park.My fault. Should have paid more attention when booking."
Shrigley Hall Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was excellent, the area is amazing, a staff was friendly and helpful. We had great time 👍"
Derby Mickleover Hotel, BW Signature Collection
8/10 Good
"The bedroom was clean but there were a lot of stains on soft furnishings and the carpet etc. The carpet was very worn and bjnched in places - this should be looked at as this could trip up another custome. The spa and pool look loke it would have been lovely back in the day but it needs to be maintained - this does not seem to be the case. The back stairs and carpets were dirty as were the walls of the hallways. There was what looked like a leak through the ceiling of the stairs to the east of the buildings, where the plaster of the walls had peeled away and stains ran down from this. The staff were all polite. We probably wouldn't have seen the backstairs etc. But unfortunately the lift on that side of the building was not working so we needed to. This hotel has the potential to be great ..... - the family room was a fantastic size and had good amenities. The beds were OK in terms of comfort. The windows were falling apart a little and you could hear the traffic very clearly from the room. With some cleaning and a little update this would make a big change."
