"Stayed here as it’s next the Telford International conference centre. Friendly greeting from staff. Comfortable night in a lovely room. Breakfast was a choice of cooked breakfast , pastries and fruit. Would highly recommend due to location. Excellent free parking!"

"Lovely room with very comfy four poster bed. Shower room. Tea, coffee and biscuits. TV, ironing board. Loved the original tudor decor. 5 min walk from overnight St Julians car park. Lively pub below and beer garden outside window but this didn't affect us, as the pub shut at midnight. We'd been at a function so that timed just right for us. Would definitely recommend this place to stay, for a those who like a well maintained original tudor room with friendly staff."

"Love this hotel come a few times a year just for a quiet weekend away to unwind, good for shopping and eating over the road merry hill shopping centre. The breakfast is ok but used to be better as don't do mushrooms or blackpudding anymore which is amust have on a breakfast lol"

"Lovely lady receptionist upgraded us to a superior double which was spacious with a large bed and great view of the church opposite, Ben, the duty manager was very efficient with the breakfasts. He got me extra tea as requested and did a lovely takeaway bag of sausage and bacon sandwich so my husband could eat later. Great staff, stylish rustic hotel. A perfect stay!"

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion."
