Called from airport using courtesy phone and van came to pick us up in minutes. Each time we needed to go to town it was prompt in drop off and pick up. Easy to schedule van for departure. The airport is very close. Shuttle even took us to Garry's Meat where we picked up salmon roe (cheaper than at the store). Staff was very friendly and we were able to get early check in. Breakfast was great, able to fill up before heading out for the day.

I spent a week at the Silverbow Inn while in Juneau for business. I had an upgraded room. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The hotel is near plenty of restaurants and there is an excellent brick oven pizza restaurant in the hotel lobby. Breakfast at the inn was confusing, at first. It's self serve, so help yourself to whatever is in the fridge. After the first day I got the hang of it and cooked eggs, made French press coffee, and enjoyed the delicious granola. They have...

This is my second time starting at the "Alaskan Hotel and Bar," and my second review. I don't to be redundant, so I'll just mention a few things that I forgot to address in my first review. This remains the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at; and like Johnny Cash, I've been everywhere. It's on the National Register of Historic Places. It's old.
