I booked this gem last minute and I’m so glad I dod so. The rooms have had recent upgrades, not depicted in the photos, and there’s a clean, modern look with a practical layout and amenities. In addition to the standards of the room, and a very comfortable bed, mine included a mini-fridge, which was a bonus. Bathrooms were also refreshed and modern with tall showers and a clean feel. This hotel is charming, clean, and comfortable. The reception staff was so welcoming, and the homemade breakfast was delicious and delivered with kindness. Our room was upstairs and had a gorgeous view of the green fields, and rivers and mountains in the distance. The room had a fireplace (we didn't use it) and a tub with shower in the room. We drove 10 minutes into Baie St. Paul for dinner, as the restaurant was closed the night we were there, and found many great options.

Best location

My stay (3 nights) at Auberge was very charming. The owners and staff were so friendly. My view of the frozen St. Lawrence was spectacular, where the beautiful church across the street was also a sight to see as the sun rose each morning. Each breakfast was delicious, as were the two dinners I had. I highly recommend the Auberge Le Four A Pain. Jonathan White (Maryland, USA).

I love B&Bs and my partner prefers hotels. This place was a lovely compromise of both. Quaint, friendly, and very welcoming for me and most of the amenities my partner wants. The bed was comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the area is gorgeous.

The Auberge is really nice and they were so friendly. We had our best time there. The breakfast was so delicious. Different Crêpes on the terrace. The mood was fantastic.

The room, bath, kitchen, sitting area were fantastic. The kitchen was really well supplied, and to our surprise, Luc had a full breakfast ready for us even though we were leaving early.

A very friendly and comfortable stay. Great hospitality and excellent tips on activities and places to eat. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat and will be recommending to friends and family.

We stayed here for 1 night because we wanted to see the whale watching the next day. Perfect location. It was only 1 hour from the hotel to the whale watching site. Easy nice drive. The hotel is well-kept and the staff was friendly and great. The room was clean and the area is quiet and safe. We slept well. We also had a dinner reservation at Chez Truchon. Very famous restaurant in the Michelin guide. It is 1 minute walk from our hotel room, basically next door. Great service and food....

The breakfast was delicious and really friendly staff

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin that was new, clean, spacious, and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the river and how calm and peaceful it was. I highly recommend this hotel.

No AC, but had ceiling fan. impeccable place. Absolute luxury and wonderful breakfast. Loved it!
