Conrad Maldives Rangali Island
4/10 Mediocre
"Hello, I need to formally express my disappointment regarding our stay. We specifically chose and paid a substantially higher price for a Deluxe Water Villa because the advertised main feature is the ability to access and enjoy the ocean directly from the villa itself.
However, the ocean conditions directly outside the villa are extremely dangerous due to the strong current, making it effectively impossible to enter or enjoy the water safely. It was not possible to swim comfortably or even remain stationary in the water.
What is especially frustrating is that the hotel map specifically indicates that the area outside our villa does not have strong current, which heavily influenced our decision when selecting and paying for this room category. Unfortunately, the actual conditions were completely different from what was represented.
As a result, the primary benefit and experience we paid a premium for was completely unusable during our stay. Had we known the real conditions in advance, we would not have booked this room category at such a significantly higher rate. We believe guests should be clearly informed when ocean access is not realistically usable, especially for a room type whose value is centered around that feature.
Considering the circumstances, we expect the hotel to provide an appropriate resolution or compensation for the considerable difference paid for an experience that could not be delivered.
I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter."
Radisson Blu Resort Maldives with 50 percent off on Sea Plane round trip 03 nights & above

"My stay at the Radisson Blu Maldives was way below expectations, with some strong points, but ultimately disappointing enough that I would choose a different resort if I return to the Maldives.
The experience started poorly. The seaplane transfer was delayed by two hours due to a miscalculation of the aircraft’s weight, followed by a 4 hour delay in the arrival of my luggage.
Despite this, the check-in process was still slow, showing little urgency given the situation.
When my luggage finally arrived and I went to take a shower, the hot water was not working and took around two more hours to be fixed. Between the seaplane delay, luggage delay, and basic room facilities not functioning, we lost roughly eight hours of our stay on the first day. Even so, a reasonable 2-hour late checkout request was denied, which felt unnecessarily inflexible under the circumstances.
Food is extremely expensive, as expected in the Maldives and personally I’m ok with high prices when the quality justifies it, but the quality does not come close to justifying the prices. At the Kabuki restaurant, USD 60 for two small tacos or USD 50 for a 4-piece sushi roll delivered food with poor flavor, incorrect temperature, and bad texture. On in-room dining A USD 60 pasta served overcooked or a USD 60 cold pizza further highlighted the disconnect between price and execution.

"The staff are immensely welcoming and professional. The hotel is conveniently located near airport and ferry terminal. My spouse and I travelled for leisure with three children. The hotel amenities are five-star. We will return. "
