Old City is home to Golden Temple, so why not stop by during your stay in Amritsar. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.
"Upon arrival at the hotel, as soon as we pulled over so that I can get out of the car, the front staff banged on my drivers door and asked him to move away from the entrance. This was because apparently a VIP was needing to get in their car. The staff didn’t bother to recognise the inconvenience caused and the second class treatment.
I am sure Accor hotels don’t have this kind of standard and it’s only to be seen in India. So unfortunate but I will not be using or recommending this kind of guest service to anyone. Hotel staff failed to adhere to consistent client service."
"There is hot tub which was not hot ,there is sauna ,steam room was good . There is separate section for women and men for these animenties .
Staff at the spa was great . Hotel was ok ,we book a suit and the room next to us had construction going on at day time ,which was not nice at all . Also ,washrooms in the room have a weird smell not pleasant at all . We check-in for evening buffet at the main floor . The buffet was closing at 10 p.m we were there 9:40 p.m . Staff was not happy with that and there was no help from staff if we needed anything that is finished at the buffet. I felt like i m eating at a 1 star place where i was picking at the leftover food in the end . We were not happy and then we paid almost $7000 rupees for two of us . Its not about the money its about the service and value for what we got .
Overall , i will say ok only for everything not great or excellent. "
