Apple Orchard was doing some renovations and construction when I stayed there but I still had a very comfortable stay. It is a great place to acclimatize because it is lower altitude than Leh, so I went straight to Ulleytokpo after flying to Leh. They had delicious healthy food and a comfortable room. After acclimatizing I took some long walks to nearby monasteries that also helped with further acclimatizing, and they had helpful advice on how to catch the bus back to Leh. This is a decent property in the heart of Leh. Great accessibility to the central market. The owner sure has some taste. If I were to nit-pick, some finer details might need a relook. Our shower cabin, for example, would leak all over the bathroom floor, as if there was no shower door. Stepping into a wet bathroom dilutes ones experience.
