"The hospitality at Aanari was exceptional! From the first hello to Bon voyage the staff were extremely accommodating. Early check in, late check out, extra tea do the room, help with appliances, providing early breakfasts and snacks for day trips! They went above and beyond. The hotel is seconds away from the beach, and best sunset location. A lovely pool with sunloungers, the food buffet was generous. I would highly recommend and revisit "

"This is a modern and reasonably decorated hotel. However, when we checked in, we were placed in a room that smelt of cigarette smoke. We changed it, but were placed in a room that smelt of damp. That was bad enough, but when we asked for help with the room, the front desk staff promised they would call us back and then did not do so. We asked for help a second time and were again given fake excuses; one member of reception (Nitin) promised to have his management send us a letter under the door or give us a call. No help arrived. It seems the front desk of the hotel operates a policy of lying to desks and hoping they will go away. This is appalling. "

"An ocean view room was reserved for my parents at the Sugar Beach hotel. They were celebrating their Golden (50th) anniversary. Initially they were given a room that was very far from the reception and required climbing stairs and didn't provide a clear ocean view (something we paid for). Also, they were not provided with drinking water in their rooms. On top of this, their in-room phone did not work. They were eventually moved to a better room on the ground floor, but the staff and service had already scarred the experience at the hotel. Prior to their stay at Sugar Beach, they stayed at the Le Meridien, where the staff, the service, the location were all top notch. The day and night difference between the two hotels made it worse at Sugar Beach. Will not be booking Sugar Beach Hotel again. "

"While the room was really small and disappointing from the photos' present and also the description of ocean view etc, nothing to talk about, the floors were super slippery and fell down due to the same at the entrance of the property. Over all we can term this is a budget property if you are tight on your purse. Jessica was super enthusiastic and she is the real one who takes maximum efforts to run the show smoothly and makes the shuttle run in the absence of laid back staff, who are less responsive. The reviews can be mixed but having travelled around the world , chose this property only if you are very tight on purse. swimming pool was just ok , but the so called fitness area was pathetic. break fast also was not much to talk about as my wife had no breakfast all the 4 days as it has no proper veg options. Really tough if you have no vehicle as every restaurant close by is really far off."

"Lovely family hotel with an excelling mini water park for the kids. Kids absolutely loved it and food was excellent especially the desserts. Amazing scenery and beautiful hotel. Only thing is sea is very rough due to area being quite windy so best to stick to pools. "
