"This hotel is huge, and a nightmare because of all the tourist groups and their million suitcases that crowd the lobby. There are warning about "congestion at breakfast", so i had my coffee somewhere else ..
The location was not very convenient, it's only good if your train arrives on that side of the station. Otherwise it is a long long walk just to get to any bus or subway. The staff was incredibly helpful and did the best they could given the horrifying tour groups crowd.
Rooms are small but ok. No public baths. It is a 3 star hotel, not 4"
"The hotel is 3 min walk from Kyoto Station and 5 min walk from Aeon mall. It's clean and well maintained. The room is a bit small, but cosy. Bathroom is clean and has separate amenities. Free drinks and sweets are provided. The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay."
"Only 1 stop down from Kyoto Shinkansen station makes this hotel a convenient place to stay. Amenities are also within walking distance as well as the Kyoto Railway Museum and Aquarium. "
"Nice stay. Location in a great spot to see all of the sites and the room was good size. Super nice staff and the breakfast was really good. Definitely would stay there again. "
"A wonderful hotel. I wish we had stayed at this chain throughout other stops on our trip. The onsen, free laundry, and food contribute to the overall genuine experience."
