"when I arrived I had had a bad experience at a earlier hotel I stayed at. Top floor room,steep stairway from ground floor and toilet on an other level. So when I arrived early at the waverley the staff very kindly switched me to a ground floor room when I told them of my previous hotel difficulties. The waverley did not do evening meals but invited me to use a take away and bring it back to hotel where a plate and cutlery would be provided for me to use which was very kind."

"Good clean room with comfortable bed. We had a shared bathroom and toilet both lovely and clean.
Only thing that i would suggest to the owner is that some blinds are put up at the window to make it more private as we were at the front of the property and needed the curtains drawn unless fully dressed.

"Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...

"Really pleased I picked this place for the 3 of us to stay. It was clean and perfect for us. There is a kitchen with fridge, oven and hob and a kettle if you should need them. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked well. There was ample free parking outside. We were attending a show in Stoke on Trent and it was just under £10 for a taxi to the theatre. Would recommend this place to anyone needing a clean and comfortable place to stay. "
