"Parking was perfect, right next to room. Simon greeted me on arrival very well and the breakfast in the morning was top tier… sausage heaven 👍"

"Staff are amazing, breakfast is lovely 😉 VFM is OK only - rooms are tired looking as is the shower. OK, so the building is 300 years old but it needs renovating in order to restore it to its’ former glory."

"Room historic and atmospheric; staff make the place ; each one without exception was friendly and me feel right at home "

"Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again"
