"Another fabulous stay at this fantastic hotel. Love the themed rooms and interesting decor throughout the place. Fabulous breakfast. It would be good if there was recycling in the kitchen area - no where to put cleaned yogurt pottels etc. In the rooms recycling is promoted but not in the kitchen area where there is glass and plastic that can be recycled going straight in the bin destined for landfill."

"It was a lovely room. Just the right size for our one night stay. We were annoyed that the electric blanket was incredibly hard to find and plug in to use. I broke my permanent bracelet trying to lift the whole mattress to get to the plug on both beds. The heater has 3 different places to make sure it is on (overkill), had to call the desk to get it working. Positives: it is a lovely old hotel with a quirky room system. A few stairs to conquer but also a small elevator. It is very central to...

"Very accommodating manager. Couldn't do more to make us comfortable!!
One criticism is the shower was tricky!! Hot water didn't come on easily. We eventually got it going after seeing the notice on the wall. The shower floor was very slippery, as the curtains didn't keep the outside dry, so quite dangerous when wet. I had to dry the floor leading to the toilet to prevent my husband, and myself, from slipping. Needs an air vent/ expel fan. The kitchen could benefit also from an expel fan.

"The Asure Motel was lovely and clean it was a cold day when we arrived late in the afternoon and they had put the heating on which was great.

"Owner really rude and aggressive, knocking on the door at 10.00 asking us to leave. Not 10.10 or 10.01. It seem he was waiting at the door looking at his watch. After I said ok, and even when he could see that my baby was half dressed, he knocked again 30 seconds later. In two months in New Zealand staying at different places I have never experienced such horrible behavior. "

"Beautiful quaint little spot to stay. Room was absolutely lovely with fluffy robes for when you are out of the spa bath. Young girl working reception on arrival waa sweet, pleasant and helpful. We had a downstairs room and didn’t hear noise from any other guests. Would highly recommended The Mews!"
