Staff for check in is abundant and helps with “Japanese” service. We stayed in a Japanese-Western combo room which was well updated and spacious for family of 5. 2 different big baths in annex which were both updated and nice!
The hotel is lovely. The room with the Mt.Fuji view was big with a couch & chair from which we could view the mountain to our heart’s content. The shower/bath was large and comfortable. The beds were firm. The room was clean. The staff was accommodating.
Fuji-Q amusement park is next door, but there was no noticeable noise in the hotel.

The local bus line to all of touristy stuff around the area is 50 yards out the front door of the hotel. The Dino Diner and the breakfast spot next to it are just around the corner and have amazing food. There is a large park next to the bus stop and a scenic...

The location is perfect for all the tourist spots like most of the beautiful spots are less than 30 minutes drive. Dont forget to call the shuttle service that hotel provides. There is very limited transportation in the area. Place is very relaxing and a lot of amenities available. The staff is very friendly and would even go above and beyond the service they provide. The front desk person drove us to the market just to buy the fuji apple that we wanted before getting dropped off the train station. The breakfast was good.

We chose this place mainly for the view and we were not disappointed, inspite of the weather. We procould have stayed another day to really enjoy the onsen, but one night was all We had. It was worth the price.
