"The room was huge! Separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate shower, large open concept kitchen, living room. Large balcony with great ocean view. Crickets at night. We stayed one night; before our cruise. Would stay there again. Only downside was we had to check out at 12 noon (which is still reasonable) but our embarkation is only at 5. We could have extended our stay but at 15 euros per hour. In CDN$ that’s quite steep."

"The staff was wonderful from the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant (enjoyed the food for breakfast and dinner). Free parking was great. Car recommended to get around, be prepared for roundabouts. Street food restaurant across the street was a plus. The hotel has basic 3 star comparable Caribbean rooms with limited internet (downstairs at least) but would stay again depending on the type of trip. "

"Very comfortable, clean, peaceful beachfront vacation with full kitchenette, balcony and beautiful pool! The beach Anse à l ‘âne is beautiful and close to other beautiful beaches. A few restos for cocktails at sunset are available!"

"We liked our stay at La Pagerie a lot. It’s an easy walk from the ferry, and in a busy lively area. The staff spoke good English, and check in was easy. Our room had good air conditioning and a big comfy bed. The balcony and coffee making area was also a nice addition. The grounds were well maintained - look for the pet tortoise’s little pen! The pool was really nice too and the bar staff were friendly and made some great drinks. The only downside is that parking can be hard to come by in the...

"This was our second stay at Hotel Bakoua. The staff are very helpful indeed and the location cannot be bettered. The hotel is located on the beach with very good range of facilities, and very close to the ferry to Pointe du Bout. "

"A Basic hotel room, nothing fancy. Excellent location in central, close to the local beach and both cruise ship ports and walkable anywhere in the city. Perfect stay for one night before our cruise. The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpful."
