"Hello! This was the second time I have stayed at the Eagle View Lodge. I have deemed it my writer's retreat location because it is so beautiful and so peaceful. It's a great place to just sit with your thoughts and write. Or read. Or just be. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food, drinks, and chili brownie is also delightful! I am looking forward to my next "writer's retreat" as I continue working on my novel."

"First, it's a hidden gem. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to stay. Now how about the African coffee, ah so smooth and the taste was incredible. The best I have had so far. The staff genuinely care about you and would support you from pickup to drop off(if you request). The garden area needs some attention though, I think the grass is overgrown and should regularly be cut. Oh by the way, I love the city view from room... Came out every Morning just to have a view and take pictures "
