"Cabins were basic and dated but very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery. Freezing night but the heater worked well. Very good budget option"

3.5 star Hotel. Golden Grain Motor Inn definitely exceeds this rating and should be considered a 4-star or more.
I together with my family , though just an overnight stay had a great experience with this Hotel .From the time of booking , till check out ( they also accommodated after hours check in for us, which was very convenient, to a very neat, clean and comfortable room including buddings and amenities , everything was superb....

Great location in the centre of Halls Gap with the canyon walls as a backdrop.
So easy to reach restaurants & bars.
Climbs through the rocks of varying difficulties.
Facilities clean and plenty of wildlife to watch.
We will come back."
