Loved my stay at Engiri. I didn't want to leave. The place, the staff, the warm staff, the elephant and hippos roaming about in the mornings - I loved it all.

What a lovely place in the middle of a very verdant area, where the sounds of the forest are the only sounds you'll hear. Velvet and Colobus monkeys will welcome you to the property and will amuse throughout your stay. Highly recommend.

I had a group of 16 staying at the lodge and we all absolutely loved it! The facility was lovely and the rooms were very nice. The staff especially are very welcoming and kind. Best experience was walking out of the restaurant after dinner and seeing an elephant standing in the middle of the path. 10/10 would recommend!

My stay was perfect. The staff and the food was tremendous. Benjamin the Chef outdoes himself every meal. You feel like your in a 5 star restaurant. The food is beautifully prepared and presented and it tastes good too! I have stayed at Ishasha Jungle lodge a sister lodge so expected it would be a nice spot to spend a few nights but it was even better than Ishahsha was. They gracefully served my Ugandan friend and her 3 children for lunch and didn't seem to mind the 3 kids zooming...

Quiet and set apart.

My stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge was wonderful. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....

Great looking hotel! i wish I would've had more time to enjoy the terrace and look at primates. Next time, easy choice. I really enjoyed knowing that their vegetation part shares the land with the park, so in a good day you can see Chimps from your front patio.

Me and my family had an amazing stay at Nyanja View. The location is peaceful with beautiful views, and the property is exactly as described. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, decorated in a luxurious African style. We spent our days relaxing by the pool and our evenings at the fireplace. This spot is great. It definitely isn't the most luxurious place but, for those who are game, it is a wonderful property with extremely attentive and caring staff. It is nestled right in the edge of the Kiwali forest and a great jumping off point for chimp trekking.
