This hotel was the highlight of our fall driving trip. I loved the modern mountain lodge decor and the overall attention to detail. The hotel is new and successully creates a soothing sophisticated atmosphere. It is located up on a hill in a small town next to a lift several minutes drive from St. Moritz. A wonderful find on our way to Zermatt! I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was efficient, clean, and charming. The breakfast was stellar and the location is incredibly convenient to the train station. We didn’t get to use the spa, but it looked gorgeous. Don't hesitate to book!

Important building on comfortable location. Reasonable interior decoration and spacious, functional rooms. I got good rate for the period 10 - 14, January, and complimentary ski pass for two! The Hotel’s style brings you back to the 1930s. It is perfectly maintained with modern amenities. The staff was wonderful and eager to fulfill our every request. The breakfast was a 10 !!! The restaurants on the property were superb. Let’s not forget the location, you can just walk out the back door and get on the ski lift. We will re-book for this December. I highly recommend this property.

Great location and easy access to skiing via buses to mountains. Ambiance was amazing and they picked us up from the train station Staff was excellent Dario showed us around right from check in and Mira was so helpful during our stay. They even provided ice bags for a leg injury and non allergenic pillow w sleeping. Breakfast was great!!!

Beautiful hotel that tries to strike a balance between the super-ritz and the run of the mill chains. The local wood used to refurbish the rooms was a surprisingly nice touch (and made the rooms smell good!) The front desk staff was very friendly in all interactions. The entire staff was exceptionally helpful at the Hotel Piz after I fell and broke my hand.I would give this Hotel a 5 Star Rating for Service!They all went out of their way to make me comfortable during a 2 month stay.The hotel is centrally located,bus stop is right outside the entrance,and a transportation card was provided for the Engadin villages and all ski lifts.The bahnhof is only 8min away by bus.The breakfast is fresh and varied,and they provided my special request of soy milk and...

The area is car free, hotel provides an excellent shuttle service from a large underground parking garage. Great winter sports are nearby!

Luxury and great location. We will be back to the Maistra.

What can I say other than I had an incredible 5 night stay! I enjoyed the included wonderful breakfast spread, hiking 3 days with the included hotel hiking guide, going to the Wellness area, afternoon treats. They will also pick guests up at the Pontresina train station. I had such a marvelous time at Hotel Walther, that I will be going there again next year but for a longer stay.
