"Upon arrival the front desk clerk was busy texting her manager while we stood there for several minutes and didn’t even acknowledge our presence…
The breakfast meals were sub par compared to other hotel offerings we’ve stayed at. The scrambled eggs were cold, the bacon was undercooked, and hash browns were soggy…and this was consistent over the 4 days we were there.
Bedrooms were nice, but the pillows supplied were flat and provided no support .
The staff were otherwise very nice and helpful. "
"This hotel was hands-down, the cleanest hotel that me and my kids stayed in. And we stayed in two other hotels other than this one.
The staff was very nice and really welcoming, and super helpful. They maid turn down service was great, no issues whatsoever.
The location was pretty convenient because it was really close to West Edmonton, Mall and Chick-fil-A obviously.
The complementary breakfast was OK, not top-tier, but it was pretty decent.
We stay there for two nights so breakfast in the morning was these weird cubed kind of eggs not really scrambled but they seem like they were cooked in a deep dish pan and then cut up. Sausages, hadbrowns and pancakes. Toast, a bunch of different kinds. Cold yogurt, three kinds of juices to choose from and pretty good coffee. They also had a waffle making Station, and four different types of cereal with cold milk. Overall pretty impressed. And then the next day, same thing eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and French toast, and all the extras mentioned above.
and the woman running the breakfast was freaking awesome, she always had everything stocked, she was always cleaning tables and welcoming guests. She was awesome. She needs a promotion.
The room overall was very clean, nicely upkeep. The beds are super soft and comfortable, the blankets were so comfy and warm, and the pillows were awesome.
Overall, I highly recommend this place.
I will definitely be staying here anytime I need to go to Edmonton"
"Would not recommend, however due to the price it isn't a terrible alternative compared to similarly priced motels.
Has everything you'll need but not exactly a pleasant stay for us.
Location was okay.
Property itself was not maintained the best, however this is reflected in the rates you can get a room for.
Property overall is good value as I believe breakfast was included, did not partake as I don't want to know what I'd have gotten for the price.
Service wasn't great either, someone in line jumped ahead of us despite the receptionist knowing this and didn't say anything.
Pool was crowded, once again affordable hotel and very accessible to many people."
"Room was clean and nice for the price,
I advised I wanted a late check in which they accommodated, however I kept getting the door knocked on by housekeeping despite telling them I was still in the room so a bit rushed to get out.
Amenities appeared to be nice however did not use anything.
Outside of the hotel is okay, however several transient drug users have taken to hanging out in the front area, as well as sleeping in the entrance of the Denny's which is attached the to the hotel. Although this is pretty typical in Edmonton so nothing against the hotel.
The main doors are access by key card so pretty secure in the hotel for the most part.
Room was nice and had a clean and nicely renovated bathroom and sleeping quarters.
Overall nice hotel for the price, especially if you get a room in the 100-150 range."
