"I understand not all rooms will have a beach view. I didn't notice or possibly overlooked a way to specify "beach view" or not when placing the reservation. We had a view to the east, of the neighboring hotel. The hallway on the 6th floor was always way chillier than necessary for this time of year. The elevator(s) are excruciatingly slow. Exiting the parking area can be a challenge. Making a right turn to the east, then planning a U-Turn, would be the safest way to go west from here. Charging for parking was a surprise at checkout. This may have been mentioned at check-in, but that was a blur. The front desk staff was pleasant & helpful. The breakfast staff could have provided better information. On Sunday, an omelet bay was offered. It was not made clear that this was to be serviced by staff & not guests. When I approached the bay, a man called out from across the dining area, stopping me from attempting an omelet myself."

"Great place to stay if you are traveling alone! Basic accommodations but everything you need for a lovely getaway to the beach!"

"I visited Orange Beach for the first time for my birthday. Everything was easily accessible and the hotel was right on the beach. Checking in went smoothly and the staff are very friendly! Only bad thing was that the parking is actually $15 per night and not $10 a night. When I entered my hotel room, it was super cleaned and had sweet treats. I booked the balcony and I had a great view of the beach. If you plan on visiting here for your birthday, don’t forget to mention it to the staff. They made my special day extra special. The staff treated me to small gifts and even a free drink to the Tiki bar ( I don’t drink alcohol so offered me a virgin daiquiri instead). I am forever grateful for staying at this hotel. It made everything worth it!"

"Very clean and nice as always! Whoever runs the music in the lobby has an amazing ear for good music! Loved the live guitarist by the pool as well. Enjoyed and will definitely stay here again!"

"It said beach view but what I got was the lazy river and a hill off sand and some water. The room was clean. I didn’t like the fact that it says breakfast included but you have to pay for that in addition and you have to pay for parking. I told my husband that the things that use to be complimentary they are now nickel and diming you to death. Bottle water in the room should be complimentary but they charge you for it. The room was nice and the staff friendly but it was overpriced. Did I pay it? Yes. But I won’t do it again. I don’t feel as though I got what I paid for. I was a little disappointed. "
