Woodmans Hill Motel
2/10 Terrible
"Not actually stay in this property. Arrived at the property after 6pm and the staff told me they can’t accommodate my entire family due to overbooking. I need to look for another place the stay in the last minute. Not happy at all."
"Our stay at Quest Ballarat Station is a pleasure. Cleanliness and ease of use of everything is more than we are expected. Just fyi there is no water bottles supplied in the room, but ladies at the reception provided us without any hassle. Centrally located. One bedroom apartment had microwave, induction hob, cooking utensils, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. And undercover parking is available for $15. We use our own Disney+ and Prime Video subscription logins to stream on both days, no hiccups. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and certainly stay again on our next visit to Ballarat."
"We absolutely loved the old grandeur of this building - with surviving furniture and decor. Everything was old and glorious - i dont mind rough around the edges as this in itself tells a story of survival against the odds! These old buildings are very expensive to upkeep so the exterior needs attention, as does window frames. I can only wish that the property owner is budgeting for ongoing upgrades. Its important to stay where money is needed. We stayed in the royal suite - it was beautiful, a grand old women, still vey beautiful but in need of love!
The evening staff were not the most helpful - the young boy was great but his blond coworker was a little rude! Again the grandeur of the building still made our stay more than worthwhile. Loved meeting a local named David on arrival- he was very knowledgeable and looked part of the furniture. Thank you for our experience Craigs Royal Hotel!"
"Bit disappointed. Received an E Mail at 1.30pm on my way to the Motel advising that I had to use a pin number for my room. This was a bit late as luckily, I have my E Mails on my phone. When I arrived, there was no one at reception (3.00 pm in the afternoon) and didn't see any staff the 3 days that I was there. Room was good but a bit dated. Parking was also unusual as there didn't seem to be enough for all of the units."
