2/10 Terrible

"Daily contamination of buffet with birds bathing and feeding in buffet food and dining areas. Excellent staff could not control the numbers of birds that accessed the restaurant. I was offered no doctor or reimbursement after I was sick for three days. (I did not dine elsewhere during my stay). Excessive renovations and noise means most restaurants were closed. Spa was extremely low quality facilities. "

"Exceptional Stay Feedback My recent stay at The V Luxury Resort Sahl Hasheesh was truly outstanding. From our arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail that set a positive tone for our visit. The check-in was smooth and efficient, allowing us to quickly start enjoying the resort’s amenities. The accommodations were elegant and comfortable, with the room being spotless, beautifully decorated, and offering stunning views. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the well-stocked minibar, added to our enjoyment. The resort’s facilities were excellent. The swimming pools were clean and inviting, and the spa offered a peaceful retreat with expert treatments and a relaxing atmosphere. Dining at the resort was a highlight, with a great variety of cuisines, all expertly prepared. Each meal was memorable, thanks to attentive service and fresh, high-quality ingredients. The hospitality from all staff members was exceptional. Everyone, from housekeeping to management, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, showing genuine care and dedication. I highly recommend The V Luxury Resort Sahl Hasheesh to anyone looking for a memorable holiday. I look forward to returning and making more great memories at this wonderful resort."

"Al Kasr sits within the beautiful gated community of Sahl Hasheesh, and overall we had a great stay. We visited in February 2026 and the weather was perfect. The hotel still feels like it’s in a soft‑opening phase, with the spa unfinished and some facilities being refined, but the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Tipping plays a big part in service levels, so bring small notes. The pools were a highlight: all heated, never crowded, and the swim‑up rooms offered real privacy, though ours had some messy tile repairs. The beach is directly connected to the hotel with plenty of loungers and a bar on the sand. Food was good, even for a picky eater, with the main restaurant plus several made‑to‑order snack bars, a café, juice bar, and doughnut station. Service, however, was inconsistent—sometimes excellent, sometimes nonexistent—and the language barrier could make simple requests harder than expected. Our room was comfortable but the air‑con didn’t cool below 23°C despite reporting it, and the pillows were overly large. The mini‑fridge was restocked daily, which was a nice touch. There’s no ATM on-site despite what Google says, so withdraw cash at the airport. Despite a few teething issues, Al Kasr is a lovely, luxurious hotel with huge potential, and we’d happily recommend it for a relaxing getaway."

"Amazing stay. Rooms were spotless with great housekeeping. Staff were fantastic, super attentive and friendly. Easy to get sunbeds by pool and beach. Great selection in buffet for both breakfast and dinner. Lovely beach with music and cocktails on beanbags at sunset which was really nice. Could not fault the hotel at all. "

"We had an amazing stay at Cook’s Club El Gouna. The vibe is so cool and relaxing, the rooms were clean and modern, and the pool area is beautiful. The music, food, and overall atmosphere made it such a fun experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We truly had a great time and would definitely come back."
